SO THIS HOBO WALKS INTO AN AQUARIUM WITH A BEAGLE UNDER ONE ARM, AN ETCH-A-SKETCH UNDER THE OTHER, CARRYING AN UMBRELLA WITH .....OOPS! I GUESS I SHOULDN'T FINISH THAT ONE....MY NAME IS TERRY OLSON...I HAVE BEEN ON THE AIRWAVES OF LAKE COUNTRY KQ92 SINCE THE SUMMER OF 1992...IT IS HARD TO BELIEVE, BUT IT IS TRUE...I HAVE LOVED EVERY MINUTE, WHETHER IT'S BEEN EARLY MORNINGS OR LATE NIGHTS...NOW I AM EXCITED FOR SEVERAL REASONS...OUR NEW-LOOK WEBSITE IS AWESOME AND IT WILL ONLY GET BETTER! SO WHILE YOU KEEP LISTENING, KEEP CHECKING THIS SITE! How's it goin' !

Can't believe that I've been at Today's New Hit Country for 10 years now...It's great !...Most of that time has been spent doing the middays 9:30am to 2:30pm...I am also one of the play by play voices here at KQ92, along with Terry & Brad we cover high school sports for Warroad, Roseau and Lake of the Woods...I came to the area from West Central Minnesota and before that southeast Iowa and before THAT it was the Republic of the Marshall Islands in the middle of the Pacific Ocean...Ask me sometime, and I'll tell you what it was like living out there...Shoot me an email sometime if you have any sports information (especially schedules) that we can help you with, or if you just have a comment good or bad or just because :) ...Thanks for listening to Today's New Hit Country, Lake Country KQ92 ! !

When Terry Olson speaks, Judy Olson listens. If you have been listening to the morning show lately....you know that statement isn't necessarily true, but he did ask me to update my profile, so I guess I can humor him.

I recently joined the morning show with Mr. Olson (no relation) and although it's only been a short time....so far so good....I want to thank everyone for the support. It means a lot to me.

I was born in Fort Francis Ontario, raised in Int’l Falls, MN, graduated

from Lake of the Woods High School in Baudette, MN, and here I am in

Warroad, MN. Just skirtin' my way across northern MN. I never did go to

college, which I regret. But I have been given some great opportunities.

All of which I am grateful for. I worked for KQ92 back in 1992 for a few

years, then came back in 2003. I enjoy all country music, old and new.

But I prefer the classics. I have been known to play a few more older tunes than scheduled. Not following the rules???? Who me??? Never!!! I better get back to work. Take care and remember to enjoy every day Don't sweat the small stuff. Keep listening. Give me a call when I'm on air. I'll try and get a classic cut on for you. (if the boss is out of town that is)
